Large mixed use state park. You can do a large variety of outdoor activities here, although some are limited to certain areas within the park. Check the website for updated information beforehand. Large network of dog friendly hiking trails around most of the park. However, it would be good to consider wearing blaze orange, as some most of the trails boarder hunting areas.
The pool is beautiful.
Best place to take your family for hiking, picnics, and fishing. Has such beauty for each season. It's our weekend activity and it's Free!
Wonderful place to experience the outdoors. Bike riding or hiking is very enjoyable. Very fortunate to have access to such a great park.
I feel that this state park has a lot to offer. It can be exciting and active (biking, disc golf) or relaxing (kayaking out on the lake).
Huge State Park, great boating, biking, picnic facilities; can rent small motorboats. Especially popular with sailboaters, large and small. Dock rental available for all summer, usually a waiting list for the large number of dock slips.
